Project Activities

The 3 transnational access activities (TA) of MICROKELVIN are offering European scientists a possibility to conduct their low temperature experiments in the state-of-the-art refrigerators from 4 K down to the microkelvin temperature regime.

The transnational access activities are supported by 4 networking activities (NA). The goal of the networking activities is to reduce fragmentation of European low temperature community by fostering the culture of co-operation within the MICROKELVIN collaboration and by disseminating its results beyond its partners.

The access and networking activities will be complemented by 4 joint research activities (JRA), aimed at developing new refrigeration methods and measuring tools for low temperature experiments. These challenging activities need a combined effort and commitment of several partners of MICROKELVIN.
